The 5-Day Tanzania Private Classic Safari offers an unforgettable wildlife adventure through some of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations. Starting with your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you’ll journey to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive in its lush forests and salt flats, known for its elephants, buffalo, and tree-climbing lions. The following day, explore the Ngorongoro Crater, home to the “Big Five” and an array of other wildlife in its vast caldera. Next, visit Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and majestic baobab trees, before concluding the safari with a return to Arusha. Throughout the tour, you’ll stay in comfortable accommodations with full board, including Chanya Lodge, Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp, and Tarangire Simba Lodge, offering a perfect blend of wildlife, landscapes, and comfort.

Itinerary
You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and our driver will bring you to your Hotel in Moshi.
Chanya Lodge - Standard Room (Half Board) for 1 night
Location: Chanya Lodge is located off the main road, 6 km east of the busy city center of Moshi and is therefore an ideal starting point for mountain tours, excursions in the Kilimanjaro region and safaris. Kilimanjaro International Airport can be reached in 50 minutes by car. Accommodation: Chanya Lodge offers 32 spacious rooms, a swimming pool, internet, a restaurant, a bar, as well as massage, spa and yoga treatments. The friendly and brightly furnished rooms in modern African design have their own spacious bathroom with rain shower, comfortable beds with mosquito nets, fan and a private veranda with seating area.
Pick up from hotel in Moshi and driving to the Lake Manyara national park at the foot of the East African valley about 200 km. The game drive will start in the early afternoon. The Lake Manyara National Park has possibly the greatest biomass density in mammals (elephant and buffalo) worldwide. The park is especially scenic influenced by the groundwater forest and the salt lake Manyara.

Pembeni Rhotia - Standard Room (Full Board) for 1 night
Location: The Pembeni Camp is in Rhotia on a hilltop with beautiful views of the valley and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Accommodation: The 15 tents are built out of locally sourced materials such as wood, clay bricks and canvas. There is a backup generator in case of a power outage and Wi-Fi services. Each Tent has a breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area from the balcony and a 48 square meters of floor space. A coat hanger, bedside table, mosquito net and luggage rack are in the room. Hot water is always available
There are only a few kilometres to the entree of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. At the view point next to the memorial stone of Michael Grzimek provides a wide view of the gigantic caldron. Its diameter is up to 20 kilometres at some points. Depending on the season, the Ngorongoro Crater has between 15,000 and 25,000 animals. You have a good chance of spotting the “big five” (lion, hippo, elephant, buffalo and leopard). Considering the space, a comparatively large amount of grazers lives in this naturally enclosed animal reserve. It is a good food base for more than 100 lions. Its deepest point is the Lake Magadi Salt Lake. Depending on the season, its level increases and attracts numerous flamingos. Hippos move around in the surrounding Mandusi and Gorigor swamps, which are fed by the rivers of the crater highlands.

Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp - Standard Room (Full Board) for 1 night
Location: Open since December 2012, Ang'ata Ngorongoro is open all year 'round. The camp is situated right after Lemala Gate, inside the Craters boundaries on the Lemala descent road, currently also being used as ascent road, ideally situated for early morning game drives into the Crater. After your game drive you may return to camp for a delicious lunch prepared by our chefs, then a lounge adjacent to the Mess tent awaits you for your afternoon relaxation and a cup of Tea in the shadow of the acacia forest. Accommodation: Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp consists of 8 Guest tents, a Lounge and a Dining tent. Each Guest tent is individually solar powered and contains a bedroom and en-suite bathroom with shower, a dressing table with sink, and a flush toilet. Plugs for charging are available only in the Lounge. Plugs for respiratory devices can be provided in the tent on demand. Complementary Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate are available in the Lounge at any time. Activities: For the more adventurous we offer sunset walks and hiking's on the rim of the crater to a Maasai Boma. Hiking's to or around Empakai crater can also be organized from our camp. All nature walks and hikes are done in the company of an armed Ranger.
Today you will head to Tarangire National Park, which is famous for its large number of elephants. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire river that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. With hills, savannas and swampland, the national park has a varied landscape and the huge baobab trees are impressive and it containing the highest number of breeding bird species of any habitat in the world. The game drive will start in the early afternoon.

Tarangire Simba Lodge - Standard Room (Full Board) for 1 night
Location: The Tarangire Simba Lodge is a Tented Camp Lodge near the north-western entrance to Tarangire National Park. The facility is located on the edge of Lake Burunge. The view from the pool, from the observation deck or from your terrace is breath-taking.
After a hearty breakfast, you set off on an exciting game drive through the diverse landscapes of Tarangire. The savannah stretches endlessly before you, with acacia trees standing like sentinels against the azure sky. As the day progresses, Tarangire reveals its wonders - herds of graceful giraffe roam the plains and a leopard lolls in the branches. But the adventure is not over yet. With the impressions of the day in mind, you make your way to Arusha and follow the winding road that leads back to civilization.
