Embark on a thrilling 3-day safari adventure through two of Tanzania’s most captivating national parks—Lake Manyara and Tarangire. Starting from Moshi, you’ll explore Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its incredible biodiversity, including vast elephant herds and its stunning mix of landscapes, from lush forests to the salt flats of Lake Manyara. After a scenic drive, you’ll spend the night at the charming Pembeni Rhotia Camp with panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The next day, head to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees, where you’ll enjoy an exciting game drive. After an overnight stay at the luxurious Sangaiwe Tented Lodge, you’ll have the chance to capture more wildlife moments during a final morning game drive before returning to Moshi. This safari offers a perfect blend of wildlife viewing, breathtaking landscapes, and comfortable accommodations.

Itinerary
Pick up from hotel in Moshi and driving to the Lake Manyara national park at the foot of the East African valley about 200 km. The game drive will start in the early afternoon. The Lake Manyara National Park has possibly the greatest biomass density in mammals (elephant and buffalo) worldwide. The park is especially scenic influenced by the groundwater forest and the salt lake Manyara.

Pembeni Rhotia - Standard Room (Full Board) for 1 night
LOCATION: The Pembeni Camp is in Rhotia on a hilltop with beautiful views of the valley and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. ACCOMMODATION: The 15 tents are built out of locally sourced materials such as wood, clay bricks and canvas. There is a backup generator in case of a power outage and Wi-Fi services. Each Tent has a breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area from the balcony and a 48 square meters of floor space. A coat hanger, bedside table, mosquito net and luggage rack are in the room. Hot water is always available
Today you will head to Tarangire National Park, which is famous for its large number of elephants. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire river that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. With hills, savannas and swampland, the national park has a varied landscape and the huge baobab trees are impressive and it containing the highest number of breeding bird species of any habitat in the world. The game drive will start in the early afternoon.

Sangaiwe Tented Lodge - Standard room (Full Board) for 1 night
Location: At the eastern edge of the Tarangire National Park, near Tarangire National Park Entree, lies the "Sangaiwe Tented Lodge". Accommodation: The individual tent bungalows are on elevated platforms and are very spacious. Each single or double room offers a bathroom, a desk, enough space for luggage as well as a sitting area inside and on the balcony. From the veranda you have a magnificent view over the wide plain and Lake Burunge. The main area of the lodge encloses a restaurant, a bar, a lounge and a swimming pool. WiFi is also offered in the main area.
Before leaving the Lodge in a safari vehicle for a game drive, there is time for a great breakfast. Take advantage of the game drive and take plenty of pictures of the great landscape or smaller animals like the Mongoose. Also there live more than 300 different species of birds. After lunch you will drive back to Moshi.
